Book 1 Project

Ok, so I have gotten a topic to make a fan experience about my book, Deadline by Chris Crutcher, it was an OK boo not that great I give it a 2 star, but the fan experience that I am making is going to make the two start book have a 5 star experience.

So many of you have heard of the GTA series, the most recent one is GTA 5, this is a game where you can explore a large city and do whatever you what, with missions included. Now you must be wondering why I am talking about GTA 5 in a “book blogging site.” Here is the reason why, my fan experience is based on GTA 5, but the only difference is that there is no illegal drugs and strip clubs involved, and also the main missions last at least a year because in the book the main character is going to die in a year and he hasn’t told any of his family members about it. In the game you are playing your own made up character who is currently in High School and you have a year to live in the game as that character when the year is done you go to a different character and do new things again. This game is extremely large, because if you are playing America you have the choice of traveling to China or Japan or even Germany. In this game you have the choice of having any car you want you can rob people take their car and also you have the choice of going into random peoples house and steal things or even go ding dong ditching people. This game is basically based on real life, say if rob someone you, the police will be after you in a heavy pursuit and it’ll be really hard for you to get away from them. Also you infinite amount of life in the game until the year is done. In the game you can play games such as tennis, golf and even biking and soccer, also you will able to make your character buff, fate and even skinny. In the game you will be taking care of the characters health as well, like eating food and going to the gym and all that good things.

The idea of the game into my mind is when Ben told his doctor, "I figure if Doc is right about the time I have left, I should wrap up my adolescence in the next few days, get into my early productive stages about the third week of school, go through my midlife crisis during Martin Luther King Jr's birthday, redouble my efforts at productivity and think about my legacy, say, Easter, and start cashing in my 401(k)s a couple weeks before Memorial Day. " Then the idea came to my mind that the game should be about a person who is dying and has one year to live, and you get the same experience as Ben had. After playing the game I am telling you, you will be willing to read the book. The game is meant to be better than the book so people that have previously read this book will love the game even more and also they will never want to stop playing the game.

Here is the trailer to GTA 5, don’t worry it is clean. I am showing you the GTA5 trailer because again the game that I am making is going to be just like GTA 5.

What is a Book

What is a book?

So, let’s start with a rhetorical question today, “What is a Book?”. If you looked in a dictionary like I did before writing this blog, you would have gotten, “a handwritten or printed work of fiction or nonfiction, usually on sheets of paper fastened or bound together within covers.”  But let me tell you that isn’t a book, ok say that you agree with the Dictionary.com’s, then you are telling the whole world that a Chemistry textbook can also be a book, well… THAT IS WRONG, b/c a textbook doesn’t have trilling sense, drama, action, and romance, pretty much everything that a movie has. Well, let me tell you my definition of the word “book”.

To me a book is pretty much a movie in my hands that I have to watch with my eyes looking at words and making an imaginative movie in my head about those word. A book is another dimension that a reader like to go into to fill their heads with enlightenment ideas, and also a place where girls would more likely to worry about if John and Savanna will ever meet again (From Dear John). “Books can not be killed by fire. People die, but books never die. No man and no force can abolish memory … In this war, we know, books are weapons. And it is a part of your dedication always to make them weapons for man’s freedom.” –Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1882-1945 32nd president of the United States, even Mr. Roosevelt agrees with my definition (which makes no sense b/c the fact that he isn’t even alive in our time generation) because when he says “a book is a weapon”, he means that a book is a man’s strength and it is the reason why he is able to be smarter and more successful in life, which is basically a short form of my definition.
